The national training center is an indoor training facility constructed for Japan’s top athletes by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The Sylomer Sports Floor System is a dampened steel floor developed specifically for the National Training Center. It utilizes the polyurethane dampening material Sylomer (Made by Getzner), excels in elasticity and durability and has been used is railroads worldwide. With the cooperation of Someno K.K. a company with many successes in gymnasium floor construction, the Sylomer Sports Floor system is extending the life and performance of sports floors as well as decreasing the burden on athletes’ feet and knees. |
